I had a little trouble understanding what she wrote.......the scraps in ,Lt, md and dark......plus the colored pieces. I thought I would try as I am just finishing up a quilt :D

Great Denise, I have another project I must do, so I am in a delima. But I don't know how often the mystery quilt will go on. If for a while then I can have time. I also have to do a baby quilt for my new niece. Oh well I guess I just take on too many things! Hee Hee, that is what makes it fun! :D

oh yes i know what your saying donna, i have a rose quilt, tablerunner, sweet pea wall hanging, and my marjen for error quilt class, plus i went and purchased a new pattern for a quilt called tulip dance. Hopefully by next week i'll be able to get back into finishing some of my ufo's . I posted a pic of the new tulip pattern. I really like this pattern, its a total new way of making tulip blocks. No templates just a matter of figuring out how to fold and sew in place. I read the instructions about 6 times now lol and i think i finally figured out what i'm suppose to do. Now to pick some real nice and bright colors. Thats my husband's job to help me pick colors  He's home from work this week , he doesn't know it yet, but he picking colors today..... Happy sewing :D

this is the tulip pattern, they had a sample made in the store, i just had to have it.

I love that pattern! I just started being a pattern tester for a shop. I can't say much about it because it is not on the market yet and is copywrited. But I will say it has tulips. I am hoping I will learn from this expirence. It does sound like you have a lot on your plate. My DH is also my color picker. He is so much better then me. I especially have problems with purple and blue. It is like the colors run into themselves. And he also is better at putting colors together. Hmm wonder why some men have the eye and we don't? Enough gab. Back to sewing. No house cleaning!
