I have the Supreme Slider on my machine and find it does make it easier to move whatever I am working on. It allows you to move the fabric in an even steady flow. Hope this helps.

I bought two $1 clear cookie sheets at the Dollar store. I used 1 to make some templates, the other I taped to the left of my machine to let the fabric slide easier.

I have one but I prefer the teflon baking sheet. I got one at B ed, Bath and Beyond for $9.99 - 20% coupon. They are also great for applique pressing cloths. Try it and if you don't like it, you could put it in your oven to keep it clean (it's intended use!).

For a fraction of the cost I use a Teflon pressing sheet and double sided tape on my vinyl covered sewing top.

This sounds like a great idea!

Slider seemed too small and too costly, but hear lots of folks enjoy theirs.

Do you tape it down on our sewing machine> do you cut a hole in the middle?

Do you have any issues getting the tape off when doing regular sewing?

I use double-sided tape. Cut a hole where your needle goes - like in the supreme slider.
