The interfacing goes only in the top band where the lining is turned to the outside. I don't know if I ever mentioned that I quilt the bag before any real sewing is done.

I thought about quilting them....maybe on the next batch. These will make great stocking stuffers or a bag to drop a gift card into.
    Thanks!

I've made them mostly for makeup but my GD asked me to make her one to keep her change in.... Well, forget it because the coins slide out. I've tried various weight metal tape measures and still the coins slide out of all of them.

How snug does the tape make the opening? I have a french hinge treat bag I use for dog training and I like the opening but hate the bag...wonder if this would work?

I need it to open with one hand and close well enough if I bend forwards or run with it on my waist the treats won't bounce or fall out.
