I found a good way. I used a heavy metal bookend. I put my foot pedal in the book end. I put the bookend end on the waffle shelf liner pad I made. It hasn't moved a inch.

Mine takes off when it sees me. I bought one of those big plastic sheets with a cup for the pedal and I can't find that.

Dollar Tree has a shelf liner that holds anything in place. I use it for my pedal. Hubs used the rest to put under a plastic bin in the back of his SUV so the bin doesn't slide.
