They use first quality batiks. I have bought from them and had no problems.

I just ordered fabric from them and have in the past. No problems, top quality fabric, and fantastic prices. I love this company.

I love Thousands of Bolts! Last week I placed an order...I received a nice phone call when my fabric was being cut. They said one 3 yard piece I ordered was actually a one yard and two yard piece. They wanted to know if I would be ok with this. I was fine with it and told him I appreciated his call. Their fabric is nice and cut straight too. I am waiting for my Batiks today. I have ordered them before and was very happy.

With a local store I placed a large online order and three of the fabrics were not shipped and one of the fabrics was in two pieces. They didn't bother contacting me. I complained and they at least did give me the option of free return shipping....but I would have preferred a phone call before shipping.

Thousands of Bolts is a great company. There's also Marshall's Dry Goods, that has great fabric and customer service.

I buy from this store all the time. I bought Batiks for Bonnie Hunts last mystery and they are great. They carry name brand fabric only and the prices area cheaper than most stores

PERSONALLY, I would never again order anything from Thousands of Bolts.

I ordered extra wide backing fabric at what was not a huge discount ( $15.99 per yard) and when it arrived, it was so stiff from all of the sizing added, and so thin you could see your hand right through it (Did I mention that it was a dark navy blue color?).

I called their customer service - because I had been led to believe that their fabric was comparable to what I would find in my LQS.....maybe not QUITE that great, but almost.........and I could not believe what I was told......no I could not return the fabric, and what did I expect? This was discount fabric, and I should not have expected LQS quality.........

I took the fabric to my guild, thinking someone might have SOME use for it - and NO TAKERS......the quality was just that poor.......I know others have been satisfied with what they purchased - but I will not buy from them again......
