Default Very Interesting Article on the Changes in the Quilting Industry

I like that they call it our Q-niverse
Nancy in western NY
before you speak T.H.I.N.K. T is it True? H is it Helpful? I is it Inspiring? N is it Necessary? K is it Kind?
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Thanks for posting this. It makes sense, and I am intrigued with the idea that the industry has been "bloated." Also interesting is the idea that there are "Legacy" quilters (like me) and "Modern" quilters.

Very interesting - anyone who thinks that all Legacy quilters are working from stash and not buying should go with my friends and I on shopping sprees! I keep saying "stash, stash, stash then I get in a shop and say oh look at all the new beautiful fabric

thanks for this posting. I left a comment on the site--my point being that as older quilters we owe it to the young folks to make quilting accessible to them.
