I have to say that I'm on who loves the large hoops, my machine has the largest hoop out there. But, for those who for whatever reason have a 4x4 and would like to make larger designs. Right now Craftsy.com has the classses to use a 4x4 hoop and make larger designs. Its worth checking into and they guarantee the classes. If I didn't have a machine I'd go for this one, great price.

Sharon, what does your toilet tissue roll avartar say? I can't read it. I made a few myself at Christmas time. Here is one of mine I did. Yes, for the price at Walmart of the embroidery machine, a person could do a lot. It is like anything, all comes down to what a person wants to pay. I may check it out to have a second machine.

great for you. glad you got such a great deal. 4" will get your labels done, and lots of
designs can be done on a 4 x 4. does it read cards or downloadable. even if it reads cards, there are a lot of interior designs great for labels. good luck and have fun

linmid: Fold back a few sheets of the paper, use a cutaway stabilizer (a MUST) on the backside of the tissue and hoop the stabilizer. I float (pin the tissue to the stabilizer) rather than insert it in the hoop. You can put a lightweight stabilizer on top of the tissue, but I don't. Don't waste your time using a tearaway stabilizer on the back.. Then I just trim the stabilizer to the size of the tissue. So much fun........Ta da!!!

WOW. I have looked at this machine a few times but the $300 was not what I wanted to spend on an embroidery only machine that only did one size designs. I was interested mainly for embroidering designs for doll clothes, but still too pricey for that. For $150--yes I would spend the money.

I got one from Wal Mart in 2006 as a gift and used it until last November when it grew up to be a bigger one with lots of bigger hoops, I NEVER had any trouble with it and it did all the things I wanted it to do but with the 4x4 hoop. I still have it and will not get rid of it.
