Who likes a mystery?

I would never ever do a mystery I am too picky and need to know more before hand so making a mystery quilt is out for me...too anal I guess...lol
Once in our guild they had this mystery quilt class and I wanted to do it then I saw what they did and this one lady did it in white and a light yellow...well they were airplanes and you could not see those yellow airplanes as they were so light you couldn't tell where the white stopped and the yellow began...so that thought has put me off.

I just recently did the McCalls mystery...my first one. Love the results except for one repeating square, but it isn't all that bad. Just would have used something a bit different. Am making the same one for my daughter and am having a terrble time finding that fabric for the same square. smile...

I also want to know what I am making so I can choose my fabrics wisely. I was in one and I used patriotic fabrics so it turned out okay...but still had I known...I may have put the red where I had used the white etc.
