Default The Worst Quilt in the World Contest

This contest is so funny and makes me feel good about my own boo boos:

I fell off my chair laughing when I read the judges' commentary for the "It's Already a Turkey" Quilt!

I agree, she is a very funny lady! In a funny coincidence, tracibug just put up the same post one day before this one in Links & Resources. It is an old contest so what are the chances of that? LOL

I was just winding down to go to bed and took a look at this listing on resources. I haven't laughed.... and cried this much in years. The commentary on the quilts makes the difference. I feel like I shed 10 lbs of problems with that medicinal laugh. I just hope the quilters were able to laugh as well.

I am saving this link to share with my new quilting students. Sometimes they are so hard on themselves, and they often expect perfection on their first quilt. Once they see these gems they will realize how good THEIR quilts are! Thanks for sharing and thanks for the laughs!

At first glance I quickly looked and thought oh yeah some ugly quilts big deal, and moved on. Then I thought surely there must be more to this.....so I clicked on the pictures. This was so so funny! Thanks for posting. I plan to share this with my quilting friends as well.
