Never heard of it. Interesting the concept of 9 patch blocks in a block which are also 9 patch blocks.

Here is a Suduko quilt top that I made a few nights ago for my local Project Linus. Was so fun to make and if you wanted to actually solve the puzzle you can because I placed the numbers from an actual Suduko puzzle.

LOL. Its easy to make. Just take 9 different fabrics and make sure that there are only one of each color going across and going down and put sashing on it. Thats all I did.

I made a patriotic soduko a while back. Would like to make another one someday. I really like this board and all the help everyone gives. Beautiful quilts too.

Yes. I have also attempted to do the five square one - four on the corners which intersect into the one at the center. HARD from the Sunday Washington Post)!! And I have attempted to do the one based on 16 rather than 9. Again, very HARD. This one also asks for 1 thru 16 diagonally both ways causing an X. I copy this one and enlarge and attempt it several times before giving up. But it is great mind exercise regardless.

I also do KenKen. Anyone doing this one? It is a daily.

I used to have the book for that, but never got around to making one.

Thank you for the "mini tute" on how to do it......my mind just completely went blank on what to call it. LOL It does that a lot, especially the older I get.
