Hello all!
So, while cleaning up my computer, and trying to remove things that I don't need, I deleted the software for my 4D Embroidery ... and the back up LOL ... yes, it's gone ... I'm an idiot, and I've been on the phone with a techie friend of mine, I did a great job deleting it permanently. And now, I don't have the CD because I gave it in with my husqvarna when I traded it in for my brother. Can we not mention just how dumb this was hahahaha
At the very least, I still have all my designs.
I'm looking for something similar, maybe even better that would work with a brother machine. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks very much,
Marion

Marion,
Can you roll the computer back to a prior date? I don't know how to do that but your friend may be able to help.
What do you like to do with the software? Which machine do you have again? Do you have the dream? There are many functions with the edits.
I have Embroidery Works Everyday. It is an entry type program but works well. I also have the BES4 and I like it. It has numerous fonts and fairly easy to learn.
Good luck!

Thanks, but that doesn't work ... it's the actual program, and the CD is gone to reinstall the program. It's not the data files I need but the .exe and it's not on my PC anymore!

THanks Cari - I will look into that.
Does anyone have the Brother PE Design Plus Embroidery Digitizing / Photostitch software Package? I might be looking to upgrade so I have something "more than an organizer!"

This might be a good, temporary replacement:

I have it, but haven't used it much. It works with my (old) brother pes

I have PE Design--an older version 5, but I use My Editor primarily. If you want to digitize there is the free program http ;//sophiesew,com/SS2/the-software/ and you can also D/L the 5/6?7? video tutorials. It's the only free "total" program I know of. You might give it a try before buying. I have a friend who has the "Essentials" program...she's still learning but says the company is very helpful. I can also suggest a free program for recovering lost or accidental deletions--I do not know if it will recover an ,exe program--but worth a try. Takes about an hr. The free program is Recuva from www.piriform,com
