Hi & welcome.
I make a note of the stitch counter just for reference. The LQS has us go back 10-20 stitches and re-stitch. If the space is more, just go back until you are at the breakage point.
If you ever have to re-hoop, draw an outline around the hoop while still in the hoop. Easier to match up the project.

Read page 76 of the manual, if this is the same model. You should be able to just press a button till back where you need to be.

Press the thread image on the screen, then use the back arrow to the place where it broke (maybe a few stitches further back), then press okay. You will be back to where you can start it again.
