The basting stitches can be downloaded for free--3 hoop sizes--for saving to a card or memory pockets on your machine. If yours is connected to computer, just send the hoop appropriate to the machine first, and then your design. Of course, they can be saved to the flash drive also. I opened them in my machine and saved to 'pockets' on the Bro ULT--so my basting stitches are always just a touch before choosing the design. I forget where they are--several places, I think--just Google for 'hoop basting stitches'.Originally Posted by Krystyna
Newbee3, thanks for posting your experience. I've been a little skeptical about floating one below the hoop. I recall they said you should use the positioning tacking first. My machine doesn't do that as far as I know (PE770) so I'm thinking you need to affix it some other way.

This link explains the 0% financing option:

I received an e-mail from Viking regarding the 30% off with free 6D. If you call your Viking store they will expalin it over the phone most likely. I don't know the expiration date as I tossed the e-mail after I purchased the software.
Good luck!

Betty J - I looked at the website where you purchased the designs. Question for you:
Do they give easy directions on how to assemble the hangers?
Where do you purchase the hangers?
Do you use batting or stuffing to fill them out?
Can you adapt the pattern to make a bigger hanger? I'm thinking for a bridal gown?

I have a Brother Disney machine that I need to get out and try again. I bought it a few years ago, and the only time I had it out was to take it to a class and try to learn how to use it.

Here is the link for the flyer. Make sure you get the zero financing and for how long. once the promotion time has ended it goes up to 29.99 % financing. I'm waiting to see what the upgrade cost will be. Originally Posted by Momo

Well, as I posted previously, yesterday was my birthday and I purchased a Janome Horizon 12000 to learn how to machine embroider and quilt. Last night stayed up late and practiced with the decorative stitches while today I practiced with the embroidery functions. Learned how to down load JEF files and import them into the Janome Link software via computer and USB device.
here are my very first two embroidery samples. I have so much to learn!
