Deedum, I did an apron for my boyfriend titled I'd rather be fishing. He loved it ( loves to grill and fish!) Got the design from www.emblibrary.com. Just type in the exact words about and you'll see it! Have fun!

Go to emblibrary.com and they have the coffee mug wraps that velcro around the cups, even the fast food ones. Also, if you can find a really light density design you can put it on toilet paper and he can display it in his bathroom. Just start checking the projects areas of some of the design companies and you'll be reeling in ideas.

I'm not an expert on Brothers but I've been told in the past that only certain Brothers can use the disney designs. There are many disney users on here so be patient, I'm sure you'll be hearing from them as well.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but a nice embroidered log carrier would be nice if he has a fireplace. You can find a free project instructions on www.emblibrary.com I believe. If not, google it.

The Disney designs can only be used in Brother machines with"D" in the name: Innovis 1250D, as an example, or machines that have Disney designs already programmed into the memory. Of course the high end machines such as the Quattro and both the 6 and 10 needle pro series machines are able to use then

As Bneighbor said, only the machines with the "D" are supposed
to be allowed to use the Disney designs.

When I got my first Brother machine it was NOT a Disney machine
when I asked about purchasing the designs separately I was told I
couldn't legally use them.

With my newer machine it IS the Disney and that makes me so happy
because I love having the ability to make Mickey items for myself.

Even if you do have a Disney machine you can NOT sale anything that
you make with their designs. Not unless you want to get into more
hot water than a freezing winter storm could get you out of.

I refuse to cross Disney and their legal department.

I'm interested in digitizing. Have no clue. What is needed to do it? Is there directions in magazines or web sites?
