I think it would be nice if everyone shared some of their embroidery projects. That would keep the thread open.

Probably lots of great info contained within the 320 pages of this thread, but it is impractical...too large.

There is a great FB group that is all about embroidery that All-Stitch keeps up with. A great bunch of people for the most part :-) once in a while a troll slips in but over all great group. Lots of shared info for both business and private. https://www.facebook.com/groups/EmbroideryMachineHelp/ Happy Stitching

I have a Viking Designer 1 but use it mostly for piecing and a Babylock Ellegante for my embroidery. Both are 9+ years old but I'm not doing as much embroidery as I once did when I got them. Just picked up the magnetic 5x7 and 7 x 11 hoops for the Babylock. I embroider all my quilt labels making them into triangle shaped labels so I only have to hand sew one side down.

Pulled out one of my plastic totes I had stashed under the quilt frame and loe and behold I found embroidered stuff from 2004. 4 season blocks from Embroidery Library I decided to make into a wallhanging using my scraps (2.5 x 2.5) for the sashing between the blocks and a double row for the outer border. Also pulled out an old project from the Babylock website (2000) to make a welcome banner for my front porch. All waiting to be quilted. Here's some photos of them so far. The cats need one more design to make a wallhanging in my 1/2 bath plus I want to make a toilet seat cover with a cat design on both sides.

I know this is a quilting board but maybe there could be a section for embroidery pictures. That would help see what others are doing.
