Have found this quilt was quilted in 2011 and called Charm & Grace, though I don't know if that is the correct name. Everything I've tried just takes me to more pinterest pages.
I haven't had issues with the previous link, unfortunately one can't choose what pinterest does with other pictures, so try this one. Should be the first blue & white ones, they're the only pics I saved.

I did nothing illegal, you can give but you can't sell. She didn't give me copies, she gave me the designs because she had no need for them. There is a difference. So no sharing going on or illegal copying.

our local embroidery dealers sell Disney designs, they are Brother distributers and are allowed.

If its not too far, check the expo that is in Raleigh in July I think. They have classes on just about everything. I'm wanting to go again this year.

Can't wait to go again to the Expo in Raleigh. I went 2 years ago and enjoyed it so much! Wonder why they did not have one in Raleigh last year? They are just so much fun, with so much to see.

Brother co. owns the copyright to the Disney designs and they are only sold to owners of registered Brother Disney machines. They have an army of lawyers to sue an illegal user of the designs and especially sellers of items with the designs. I have read of cases where they get huge settlements, take your machines and all your embroidery equipment and you can even go to jail. I have 3 Disney machines and a Snoopy (which they also own the rights to). I don't really have any interest in the Disney designs, tho I do love Snoopy. I certainly would not take a chance on being seen with a Mickey Mouse on my shirt if I didn't --you never know who that "stranger" might be.

Its really scary....I am not familiar with all the rights and wrong and I just start learning how to post here again....but I start believing that restraining myself all together is the best way of keeping myself safe..... It takes all the fun Away........

If I'm not mistaken, you can embroider the Disney designs on anything you own without any problem. If you sell an item with the design is where you can get into trouble. If it's for your own use and not resale there isn't an issue.

one reason I dont buy any machine that promotes a license with restrictions. Why pay THEM for advertising to me?

I know people who have machines and they can sew Disney designs with no problem. I also know that my Viking would too. Last year I won a stand alone emb machine from Brother but it didn't do the Disney designs. I traded it for one that did do the designs. Not all Brother machines are set up for Disney designs. When I go to ibroidery, they don't ask if I own a brother machine when I go to buy and they have no problem selling to me. Our local Brother distributer goes by the rules and does sell Disney designs. It is a very honest company, to the point that last year in out retreat, our teacher was a Brother spokes person and we were finishing off our tops and the Brother sergers weren't behaving too well. Someone mentioned that the Babylock sergers were in another class, but our teacher couldn't show us on them because she was at the retreat for Brother, not Babylock. Now in her studio, she uses Brother and Babylock. I wanted the Disney for my grandkids not for profit or anything else.

Rennie: I just checked and the expo in Raleigh hasn't put up their class schedule yet. You can sign up to be emailed it when its set up. I'm so looking forward to it. I'll have to start checking out hotel rooms soon.
