I do machine embroidery at a gift shop using a commercial Tajima machine. We have hundreds of Embroidery Forum fonts which are super easy to use, resize, etc.We have recently purchased some Etsy fonts that our customers have been requesting. I’ve downloaded the fonts and figured out how to use them but there is one problem I have not been able to solve…
The start point on the design is never in the center of the design which makes precise placement of the design very challenging. Does anyone know how to remedy this issue? Thanks and if you do, please explain in plain English… I am not a computer guru, lol!

The center is only a reference point. Is there a feature on the machine to show a center point on the hoop/item?
You basically have to match the center points of the design and the center point of the position of the item.
You can use crosshairs or placement stickers to align the centers. There are other techniques using a thumb tack through the center points for placement.
