Amen.....Im with you feline fanatic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried Elmer's glue for your project? I much prefer it to sprays, no fumes, no overspray, no inflated price. I will never baste any other way again.

I saw a basting spray at similar prices and I'm sticking right now with the Sharon Schambers's zig zag stitching. I start from the middle and work my way out. I have seen the spray starch used but not sure how that would work. Worth a shot I guess!

I'm with the others - two bottles of washable school glue for a dollar at Dollar Tree.

I use the Elmer's School Glue Stick. You can see where it is, you don't get a thick guppy glob, and you can get it at a lot of the dollar type stores. I swipe it on the backing, lay the batting on it and press with my fingers to make sure there is good contact. I then do exactly the same thing with the quilt top. Works for me.

I asked the clerk if that was the correct price and she nodded. I couldn't believe it. I went to Wally World and picked up a much larger can of a competitor's spay for $8.79 and that seemed too expensive.

Perhaps they got the Australian shipment by mistake...

I have seen different sizes in local shops ranging between 13 and 18. I only buy it from a chain store when I have a coupon or it is on sale

I paid $24.99 plus tax for a can the other day LOL Didn't even realize til I looked at the bill afterwards (i'd spent close to $500 that day, so wasn't really paying too close attention). I called the store, and they confirmed ... YUP, right price.

I'm going to research elmer's glue!
