You will also drive thru Litchfield, Ill., on I-55. Here is a shop that has everything in sewing machines, supplies, templates, rotarys, patterns, tables, quilting supplies.....everything except fabric.

A must visit shop is Threads of Time Fabrics and Retreat Center in Danville IL. Just off I-74. 5,000 bolts, plus a beautiful, fully equipped retreat for up to 34 people! A new garden/patio for cookouts, too!

If possible try and find a book called "Quilters Travel Companion", it lists all quilt shops by state. There is a group of us quilters that goes on road trips and it is our bible to the stores. It is also how we plan where we go.
