    Default 1/2" ruler

    I am looking to purchase a 1/2" ruler but having trouble finding one in the UK. So do any of you lovely board members know where I can get one? ..... I have been surfing the net but not yet found any... thanking you in advance ......jj

    If it is something you can use you can have it for tbe cost of postage!

    The only 1/2" ruler I know of is the Quick Quarter-Square-Triangle marker and I found it not to work well for me. The other skinny rulers are at least 1" wide.

    You might be looking for the "quick quarter ruler". It is 1/2" wide with slots down the middle. The purpose is for making half square triantles. You align the ruler so that the slots go diagonally from corner to corner, then you can mark the straight lines for sewing and the sloted line for cutting. I don't know how to make a link to one, but you can google "quick quarter ruler" and see it.

    Thank you Audrey this is the one ....I didnt know what it was called ....I had seen it used on youtube. I have now found a store here in the UK that sells them .........jj
