It looks like a 10 minute block only made with HST's. I am working on one with 5 inch squares out of
batiks; our retreat group wants to learn it at our one day retreat in July. I have 3 rows put together
and am debating if I want to hand sew the curve; if I do, I will just make 3 rows and do the hand work
and then put the rows together, then it wouldn't be so much bulk in my lap doing the hand work.
I would call this quilt a variation of the 10 minute block; love the pattern. Thanks for sharing it.

I'd say it's definitely a 10-minute block! I'm working on this pattern right now.

I have the 10 minute block book and it is a different pattern. There could be more than one variation of the 10 minute block.

I have a 10 minute ablock book with one pattern using half square triangles to make the blocks and the center block just makes it look like it's set on point. I just finished one 10 min quilt & starting on another one. They're from Suzanne something or other. I have 3 of her books.

No, it's not a 10-minute block. In that, one side of the center square should be appx half the size of one square surrounding it. A 10-minute block is made from 5 squares, all the same size.

Not true - I have a book 10 Minute Block 2 that has different size squares in the middle - some 5".

Looks like the 10 minute block to me. I just finished one and the 4 "outer blocks" lie the same. Beautiful job.

Actually, the 10 Minute Block can be any size as long as the four outer blocks are the same size. The middle block can be any size.
