10 MUST HAVE ITEMS in my Quilt/SewingRoom
#71
BUMP! I just came up with another "can't live without" item in the sewing room. That is one of those bamboo back scratchers that has a hand-looking end and the other end has a couple round balls that roll around on a peg on the handle end of the scratcher. I use the back scratcher to reach under my sewing table to retrieve escaped bobbins, spools of thread, etc. This also works great for pulling scraps close that missed the waste basket to get a second try at getting the scraps IN the basket, NOT behind the basket under the sewing table. The balls that move on the handle end of the back scratcher are great for running across the floor and enticing a kitten to play.

(Newbie, working on first quilt> (sitting here, hair sticking up like a bad hair cut from edward scissor hands, eye twitching, mood so foul the dog is hiding under the couch)
I would like to add two other essentials to the many great Must Have lists everyone else has made..
1)Valumn/Xanax
2)Quilting board within easy access on the wide screen monitor.
(lil laugh)

Another handy thing to have is a magnet taped to a dowel or one of those long handled magnets that you can get from Harbor Freight. Great for picking up dropped pins so you or the pets don't step on them.
