Wow, I had no idea there were so many quilt shops around me. In the past 3 days, driving no where that would be more than 90 minutes from my house, I have visited 19 quilt shops, and there are more!

I've been doing the Western Washington Shop Hop. I think we'll hit like 15 more tomorrow. Don't know if I'll be able to do anymore on Sunday or not!

I've been collecting orange fabric for a quilt for my son. Here's what I have:

I like the way they have the shops grouped by location. It makes it alot easier to plan your day(s) and route that way. I'll be looking for you in case we happen to be in the same shop at the same time. Have fun and drive safe.

    Don't blame you.

I have only 3 about 1/2 hr away. Although I just found another last night. I wish a lot more would crop up.

    Beautiful fabric.

OK, now I am feeling bad! The closest quilt shop is 100 miles away from me! I think there are 4 in that town.

Sounds like a wonderful time, although I'd be zonked just finding parking at all those shops. Do you have a link to that shop hop so we can see all the stores you've been visiting?

Durn, I would really be broke, alway's window shopping, buying fabric and such I won't ever use or need, getting really confused looking at that much variety. We have one LQS 45 minutes away and JA's and WM's along with HL 1 1/2 hours away. Best LQS with highest prices is 2 hours away and the other is 4 hours away.
    Gotta love the country.

Absolutely he needs to get his blocks too. Has he done that before with you? The GPS is a great thing to have to when you are doing the shop hops. :-P

I'm really jealous! I have a very small one about 45 minutes north and a small one about l hour south. Since nether one has a lot to choose from I seldom go. Do most of my buying online.

I only got to ten. Not enough to get into the drawing, but I took my 8yr old daughter with me and we had a blast. Two days of shopping and my neck is killing me! But we had lots of fun together. She picked out a book called "Horsing Around" that has all these adorable patterns for applique horses! There are nine different sleeping or lying down foals we are going to put on her quilt. And yes, I spent way too much money and still didn't get all the fabric I wanted! Such pretty colors!

I love the fabric that you have pick up. You wouldn't believe it, but I use to be apprehensive with color. Now I gravitate to oranges and red all the bright colors. Way to go girl
