Great buy. Really worth the drive for such a good deal.

My friend's Pfaff is picking about threads but she tried my thread from Connecting Threads and it worked fine.

You did score like I did at a recent auction. I got 109 large spools of thread, 104 small spools of thread, a long plastic tote with snapping cover, a thread holder and another gadget I haven't figured out yet for $10. Happy happy.

Hooray to all of you who have found a great deal at a garage sale or auction...Isn't it fun! I have already used some of the thread on the table runners and had no problem at all. I personally have not had a problem with my machines not liking a certain brand of thread. Sometimes I have the wrong needle, or a spool will be wound badly, or something like that, and once I think the thread was just too old, but for the two or three spools so far, no problem.

YIPEE! What a great buy...well worth the drive, huh? I think garage sales are gone here until it gets warm again but I do keep my eyes open and I read the ads in the paper.
