What a great idea! I never discourage my 15 yo son from learning anythng about sewing. It doesn't matter that it is not perfect, but the memories will be!

What wonderful memories the three of you will have later on in life. I love to hear about parents spending quality time with their children, instead of the children just spending time on the computers or watching te television. Looking forward to seeing the completed quilt.

Oprah talked about giving experiences and how those experiences last forever in people's minds and hearts. What wonderful experiences your boys will remember about their lives with their mom.

Wow! If your boys did those blocks, I'd be giving them a big HUG and a pat on the back with an "atta boy!!" This is something they'll remember for the rest of their lives. It will mean so much to them in years to come, when they think back and remember how much time mom spent with them.

You are a terrific mom to have this project going with your children. The quilt will be the most precious thing ever.

I too, have scraps that I would be happy to share with you and your sons for this project. Please send me a PM with colors and amounts you need for 9 squares and I will send this to you. If I don't have enough for all 9, I'll send what I can. Hugs and smiles, wild Linda
