Free shipping is good if they have the one special fabric I'm looking for, otherwise no go. I hate when an ad says % off with a $100, $200 or even $75 order. I wouldn't spend that much for anything less than 50% off.
I'm the same way with free shipping for a certain amount spent. If I could afford to spend that much, I wouldn't be worried about the shipping!

Today (Cyber Monday) I spent $200. at Connecting Threads on Samplers of all kinds - all at 50% off, free shipping was an added bonus.
I won't leave home for less than 40% off and I won't shop online unless I get free shipping and no taxes.
Gas will eat up the savings in town and shipping and handling will eat up the savings online.

I always want to buy fabric anyway!! LOL

20% is better than nothing but it doesn't make me want to run out and buy. my local fabric store does have a section with cottons at 3.97 or less a yard, I always look there first before getting to the 20% off sections. and it does include name brands

I always go to FabricDepot.com. Their fabric is at least 25% off, and quite often it is 35% off.

nope..20% is basically the cost of gas to get to the store! Not worth it.

Every little bit helps, but I don't think I would make a special trip for 20%.

I make a really cute jacket in a size lg for my sister in law, and it takes about 1 1/2 yds of fleece. You could jacket the whole homeless world with 100 yds. Whatever are you going to do with all that fleece?

Me neither. My local fabric store sends out a flier (and actually emails it to those of us on their mailing list) every month and there are 4 40% coupons on it. When the printer is working I can print more. So I'm never in that store without at least one 40% coupon. I might pick up some 35% fabric is they have it, but 20% doesn't come close to ringing my bells.
