20% off fabric. Does that entice you to shop?

Free shipping is good if they have the one special fabric I'm looking for, otherwise no go. I hate when an ad says % off with a $100, $200 or even $75 order. I wouldn't spend that much for anything less than 50% off.

Today (Cyber Monday) I spent $200. at Connecting Threads on Samplers of all kinds - all at 50% off, free shipping was an added bonus.
I won't leave home for less than 40% off and I won't shop online unless I get free shipping and no taxes.
Gas will eat up the savings in town and shipping and handling will eat up the savings online.

I always want to buy fabric anyway!! LOL
20% is better than nothing but it doesn't make me want to run out and buy. my local fabric store does have a section with cottons at 3.97 or less a yard, I always look there first before getting to the 20% off sections. and it does include name brands

I make a really cute jacket in a size lg for my sister in law, and it takes about 1 1/2 yds of fleece. You could jacket the whole homeless world with 100 yds. Whatever are you going to do with all that fleece?
