Default 20 Fat Quarters

I won a bundle of 20 fat quarters. I hardly ever have coordinating fabrics to play with, and I don't know of a fat-quarter friendly pattern to make with them. What would you do with these fabrics?

I think the approach shown in this (Karen Brown of Just Get It Done Quilts) video would be fun to use. (The video uses layer cake squares, which are 10"; you can get (about) 9" squares from a fat quarter with a left over strip.)

Check out www.click click see.com she has a lot of patterns that use fat quarters and several are free. I've made several through LQS quilt a longs during quarantine. Easy and fast and most can be made in several sizes (baby to king).

There are several BOMs starting this month. I'd use them for one of those!

A couple of quilt patterns using 20 fat quarters (one uses 2 1/4 yards of background fabric).

You could use a Turning 20 pattern. There are several but I have mainly used the first. It is surprising how the look so very different.
