#1 Reorganize my sewing room.
#2 Make the Christmas star quilt as a wall hanging,
#3 a twin quilt for my grandson,
#4 a queen quilt for my girlfriend (which I will also design),
#5 a queen quilt for DH and I (which I also will design),
#6 a twin quilt for my granddaughter.
And learn, learn, learn, more, more, more.

Budget my time here and spend more time making quilts. There is a small nursing home here run by the Union Mission that has 10 residents. Nine ladies and 1 gentleman that I want to make twin size tied quilts for. Anyone want to help or contribute? :^)

I am going to adopt a dom. violence shelter here. I'm going to start by making book bags and filling them with fun stuff for the children.
I also want to give myself permission to create more. It soothes my soul.

Continue making quilts for Quilts of Valor and our local Hospice.
Make one quilt good enough for a small local show and our county fair.
Make a heirloom baby quilt for the family where I am a nanny. They are having a baby girl in early March.
Use up some orphan blocks for pieced backings like Bonnie Hunter.

In Heirloom Machine Quilting, Harriet Hargrave says ..."if you put 10 mins a day into focused practice for six months you will become a good quilter......"
I am going to practice FMQ for min 10 mins per day.
Actually I am going to give a minimum of one hour per day to some sort of quilting activity (I don't want to be a beginner forever)!
These activities could include any sort of cutting, sewing, designing, reading, learning and orgainising. Fabric shopping, reading magazines or forums don't count!!!
Also keeping my blog up to date.

My resolution is to make 1 project entirely by hand. Cut the fabric with scissors - hand piece - hand quilt.
Then I need to learn how to free motion quilt.
I also want to make an art quilt of my own design using watercolor pencils or fabric paint.
The more I think about this, the longer the list gets....I better stop thinking now. lol.

1. I want to quilt my 5 kids' quilt tops that have been ready for a year. I'll have to rent the longarm to do it as they are mostly king size so I must have some $to do this.
2. I also have 15 others needing quilting but are not earmarked for anyone.
3. To keep up with the swaps on board.
4. To attempt a landscape quilt.
5. To finish the 3 quilt tops in progress.
6. To sew with my son.
7. maybe even clean the house, lol.
