It's "Four Patch & Friends" from the book "Open a Can of Worms" by Debbie Caffrey. I think the block is called Arkansas Cross Roads.

Wow as! That is pretty. I love how the green border accents it. So pretty.

That is so pretty asimplelife. Love the use of the fabrics. Just a thought on quilting since you are sending it out, not sure of your budget, but if edge to edge, be sure they put a flower/leaf vine of some sort on it or if semi custome, a trailing leave on the white would be totally awesome with a blooming flower on the ninepatch centers. Just a thought.

Thank you for the ideas and I'll discuss them with my LAQ! I am going to splurge on this one with custom quilting because it's a special quilt to me.

I'm going to try and keep this thread active... here is my current project in the Ready for Quilting section of my UFO Collection - Pandora's Box in Teal. It is from the book "Jelly Roll Quilts" by Pam & Nicky Lintott. I've finished grid quilting the blocks and now I'm doing some straight line quilting down the borders. What's everyone else working on this week?

I'm still very much interested in finishing UFO's. I still have about seven bed size quilts to finish. Hope to have my "Blue Irish" finished by the end of the month. The flimsy is done, just need to piece the back, sandwich, quilt and bind. Did I say "just".
Asimplelife: Love your Pandora's box. It looks like it was really fun to put together. On a quilt like yours, I think straight line quilting is more in harmony with the style of the quilt. My Irish chain is the same way, I am going to do cross hatching on the chain and single block design on the white centers. Really enjoying the project and looking forward to trying a more complex quilting on the centers.

Another person here who wants to keep going on the UFO's! Right now making mini 9P blocks and then hope to FMQ a quilt to take to my DS later on this month.

I agree Emma S... I'm always trying to use the lines that are already in the top to avoid marking to begin with and it just seems to work best on these tops with "sashed" blocks.

How mini are your 9P blocks oksewglad?

I'm on a mad mission to finish 20 UFOs this quarter because I have my heart set on finishing out my Year of FINISH with less than 25 UFOs. So 2 down... 18 to go! Call me crazy but I think I'll get it done. I really want to start 2014 with MUCH less UFO baggage and try out life as a quilter who makes new things AND finishes them too!
