    29" wide fabric is probably 1950's to early 1960's (or maybe earlier). Some flour sacks and the such were also 29"/30" width, other's were 35"/36". That should give you some idea of the age of your vintage fabric. It reminds me of a dress my grandmother wore (which would have been early to mid 1950's).

    It is green, there is also a cotton string woven right into the salvage, I wonder if it is for the print process. never saw that either! I just love to find out new things/old things LOL Thank You all who have replied, NOW what do with it? I have a total of 13ft.

    use it for something where it will be seen- it's gorgeous!

    You can't reliably date a fabric by it's width. Fabrics are more reliably dated by their prints or colors.
