There isn't any difference in the machines because of color, but there is a difference in the machines in the length of the fold-down table, so decide if you want a long bed or short bed machine before you buy.

Also, 301s use the same bobbins and bobbin case as the 221, but not the same feet.

you did good! I have two 301's and now no longer desire a featherweight as I am tickled pink with my machines. Now if I happened across a FW then I would consider it, but all in all just so happy with my 301's. I am sure you will be too!

I have one just like yours.....two tone, and it was my grandmothers machine. I cannot find a serial number on it.....where are they located? So this is a 301??? Wasn't sure what I had.....Sews like a charm....I love mine!!!!
