3D floppy ears on baby quilt ok?
I’m getting twin girl grand daughters. I have the cute farm block kits i got from a shop hop. One of the blocks is a cow it’s floppy ears. They are only attached to the quilt on one side. Would these be ok for a baby quilt?
Thanks

I think they would be adorable and safe. I made a baby quilt for a friend that had elephants with floppy ears. Baby loved it and the ears stayed on. I double sewed the ears. First, with the ear extended right side down, then flip the ear back down and sew again .

My first thought was that they will be chewed, so as everyone else already said, they need to be sewn on *very* well, but I would also stick to simple cotton fabric rather than anything fuzzy/furry/minky style. I personally wouldn't want my child ingesting fuzz (or at least, as little fuzz as possible - they will eat anything/everything. Unless you're at the weaning stage and it's actually food.)
And congratulations on the anticipated granddaughters!
