Tartan...just finished a sample block that finishes at 8 1/2 inches. Center block will be scrappy charms. Oh this is gonna be so nice and I should be able to get lots of fabric sewn up. TY so much for the link... here it is if someone wants it.

I just made a scrappy using same fabrics and no two blocks alike are next to each other. I really am pleased with the look of it.
