Default 4th july sewing day for me, what about you?

Hi everyone, I dont know if I am selfish or what but I feel like sewing on that day. I work 6 days a week, take care of our retail business and deal with 2 teenage children and housework, cooking and no time for me. I guess I'll make it my day, maybe just a little. DiD I say that I live 2 blocks from the beach, Myrtle Beach that it. Its gonna be soooo Hot and crowed. I dont dare go there. A peaceful place like Hunnington state park calls me. Its so nice there. Like to hear what y'all are doing in your sewing on that day. Blessings.

What a great idea!! There are a ton of projects that I need to finish and get started. I have no obligations that day for the first time in a while. My dh has to work. July 4 will be a sewing day for me!! Thanks!

depends what the idiots in the neighborhood do as far as setting off those (^*^(0 fireworks. I hate the 4th of July and usually, I'm up in the mountains w/ friends, but that wasn't able to happen this year.

I have no idea what I'll be doing that day but it probably won't be sewing. Hubby will have the day off and will probably want to go visit friends.

I'd be quilting... if I don't have to work that day! Being in the middle of the week, not much time to do much else

I will definitely be sewing all day. It is too hot here to go out. I'll be starting a Civil War quilt as I am finishing a quilt today or tomorrow.

we are both of work that day , so I want to spend some time with DH. The county fair is so close to us, but we never go there, because of the heat and all the people.

I will be babying my poor poodle, just like I have been for the past few days. I really wish people would save their fireworks for the fourth instead of every single day!!!
