We always went to a Patriotic Pops concert that included a spectacular fireworks display. But the fireworks have been canceled due to the drought, so I think I'll stay home and quilt.

I will most likely be sewing. We stay home on the weekend of the fourth every year. I'm working on a toddler quilt for a two year great grandson I will soon hopefully get to meet! :-) It's coming out really cute so far!

My son and his family will probably be coming over for a BBQ, but i will still be quilting..I have hand quilting I am working on that I can do and still visit!! Since I am on oxygen, I can't be out in the heat or cook, so i get to sit, visit and sew!! Actually since going on disability last Oct that is what I do most days..

I hope to sew some. I sewed some today, first time in forever. Can't wait to work on this quilt again. It is my first and is taking forever. I have no time right now.

I will be packing for my two week long trip - have hand sewing ready to take. Washington DC for a couple of days, on to Charleston SC for 5 days, then Colonial Williamsburg for 2 and finish up at Lancaster for 2.

I don't have my schedule yet this week, but the shop is closed on July 4th and my husband's family is coming over for a cookout (we do this every year). Not so many show up any more, the kids are all grown, most with families of their own. And the aunts and uncles are all passed now.

We are in an extreme drought here in NE Indiana, with a county-wide burn ban. All of the area fireworks displays have been cancelled or postponed until Labor Day weekend.

I may get some hand work in, once dinner is over and the kitchen cleaned up.

Sounds good to me too! I'd rather be inside in the cool sewing than outside sweating like a pig!
