Started quilting a year ago, at 62 and retired. Now 63. I have been sewing off & on forever (my Mom taught me, she made everything but quilts). Have made only one quilt I tied and one from my quilting class ( that still needs to be bound)."m trying to learn to FMQ, I'm terrible at it but being retired -- I have a lot of time :-D Love this board

Started over 60 and wish I had sooner.
Years ago I made Raggedy Ann dolls and made one just a few years ago there was a difference in quality. Im just not as patient and my eyes are not as good. My spelling is going down hill also and Im only 71 now.
I love quilting and am glad Im retired and can devote the time to it.
