I think they say "age is a matter of mind" in short if you don't mind it does't matter. Jump in with both feet. I'm convinced it's never too late to start quilting, however be prepared to have a big bucket list of things you want to make. Enjoy!

Got you all beat. Finished my first quilt project a table topper. At age 71. I have sewn since I was 9 years old. But never seemed to have space and time to quilt. It's an illness I'm hooked too.

I have been sewing since I was 12 years old. I didn't start quilting until I was 45. Now all I want to do is quilt.

Just started at 65 and have made about a dozen so far. I have not made too many lately, as I see to many beautiful quilts on here and change my mind every day as to which one I want to make next. I better decide or I'll never get another made. LOL
My to do list is sooooo long.

I started at the age 80...always sewed but not quilts. I am self taught watching tutorials on the computer. If it had not been for the computer I am not sure it would have happened for me. I am so thankful for this site and all it has to offer. Having Great Grandchildren helped...wanting to leave something for them as they probably will not get to know me...Time will tell
