    i have not decided yet maybe 10 to 12 inches. using up scraps and just sewing until i think i have enough. but it seems like the more scraps you use the more they mutiply!!

    Here's a page that lists all sorts of information. I use it as a basic guide, but the size you make a quilt is all up to you.
