I need some help identifying a machine with Serial #AA173799. I have found that it was manufactured in 1924. I attempted to look on the ISMACS website for model information but was given an error notice that the website was "suspended". The lady selling it sent me this description: serial number AA173799 MOTOR is a sears kenmore 110/120 volts 50/60 hzac 1.2 amp model number 5151
Any information anyone can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for the quick replies. Yes, CD, it is a Singer. Sorry I didn't put that in the original post. Here is the picture from the ad on Craig's List. I haven't even seen the machine. I assume this was originally a treadle machine and has been converted. What do you think about conversions and what should I look for if I decide to check into buying it?

According to ISMACS (I have a copy of the web site) 16th Dec 1924 was the date that serial number was allocated.
