Default Identifying Model from Serial number

How do you determine the model of a singer from just the serial number. Serial number on one machine I saw advertised is serial # G7154607 but the pictures are really poor and blurry. About all you can see is that it is an old style black singer with lots of decals in a really ugly cabinet. Only text is the serial number and "this is not a treadle machine" (pus a list of damage to the cabinet)
