    Default ? about wool batting

I know this has been discussed probably a lot but I couldn't find the answer I wanted when I did search. I really want to try wool batting and need advice of what brand to buy. For those who use wool batting a lot what is the best and where do you buy it?
How does it compare to Warm & Natural as it is the only thing I like to use now?

    Thanks in advance.

From previous threads on the QB, my preference would be for Hobbs wool. I have never seen anything negative about that brand of wool. Also, see this older thread: http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...m-t222212.html

Compared to Warm & Natural, wool will have a much softer drape.

I LOVE wool batting……quilts like going thru soft butter - wonderful drape and warm! The Hobbs can be machine washed and dried (on low or gentle)…….

I have used both Hobbs and Pellon Legacy wool batts. Liked them both. Quilt seems lighter weight, a bit more loft, so your quilting shows more, but warmer than cotton.

I only use wool batting and buy whatever is on sale. I love love love it. I live in a cold climate and it keeps us toasty warm.
