    Default Accquilt and DH

I was cutting strips with my Accuquilt and DH came in and sat down. He'd seen me use the Accuquilt a couple times before. DH "You know that really works slick." I agreed. DH "You know they should make an electric one." Me "They do." DH "and you don't have one???" Me "They're $500." DH "Hum" It was a positive "hum". Think maybe a seed of an idea was planted!

Awesome! I hinted at a used Grace quilting frame last night and got a "hmm" as well. Not sure it was positive, though!

I had a similar conversation with my DH recently, although I have a Sizzix. When he found out Accuquilt has the electric version he asked why I didn't have it yet. What a sweetie!

I agree when our DH's are supportive of our craft and/or hobby. Sometimes I get really frustrated though when I point out something in passing as 'that's nice' and then it magically appears in our house! Just because I think something is 'nice' does not necessarily mean I want it (or have room for it)! Congrats to those who are soon to be recipients of their new toys!

My DH gave me the Go Big Electric for Christmas! He and DD managed to sneak it in and she got the rolling bag! I am so lucky to have such sweet supporters!

Our anniversary is in May, 46 years. Not sure I'm ready for an electric one yet. He has commented several time about the Accuquilt being a wonderful tool. I should add my DH started building houses when he was 16 and is a licensed contractor. He did contract houses in addition to a full time job and has build several homes for us. He appreciates tools.
