Hi. I’m thinking about getting a Accuqilt Cutter and would like your input please. The cutters does not come in a 2-7/8”, 3-7/8”, 4-7/8:, ect. And I use a lot of these patterns on this web site.

She uses a scant ¼” seam allowance. I know there will be some math involve I just having a difficult time with the math. Thank you for your help.

I bought myself an Accuquilt for christmas. I have a few dies for it. I havent actually sewn anything I have cut with it yet. I have cut out some quilt tops though. I am going to make a postage stamp quilt with the scraps from everything I have made so right now I am cutting out the 2 1/2 squares for that. I wanted them to be precise and identical so that really was the main reason I bought it

My mom has this. And I've used the Charm Square die (5 inch square) and the Jelly Roll die (2.5 inches) and have used the peices in quilts. I love it. Love how accurate the cuts are and how easy it is to do. My 14 year old used the charm square die to cut out his disappearing nine patch pieces.

If you would goto quiltpossible.com,you might be able find the answer to your question. Also accuquilt has a website with a 800 number you could call and get some assistance.

I have the Studio and tons of dies and I'm not sure I'd be a quilter without it. I hate cutting... or I used to hate it :).

My approach is to design all my quilts around my dies, problem solved. If someone has a pattern I love and it's the wrong size, I redraw it in EQ so it fits my dies :)

The dies for the Accuquilt say the size 4” and the pattern I’m using calls for a 3-7/8” cut square, And I’m using a scant ¼” seam allowance. How do I adjust the seam allowances for a 3-5/8” finish square?
I’m not sure, would my seam allowance be 3/8” ?
