I have the Bernina 730 with stitch regulator. It quilts, sews, & embroideries. Really like it.

Me too! It does everything I ask of it! My first was a 440QE and it also would do all you are asking. Have fun finding a new machine.

Yep, agree with this. Figure out what you expect in a machine and do lots of research. I love my Vikings, but they are pricey. If you want all the bells and whistles, computer compatible, large throat, large embroidery capability, lots of fancy sewing stitches, check out the Diamond, but be prepared to pay. It is wonderful; I also have the Topaz with many of the same features for a lot less. As I say do lots of research.

I have the Viking Ruby and love it for sewing clothing, piecing, quilting and embroidering!

I have a Babylock Ellegante. I love it! I didn't use the embroidery feature on it until after I'd had the machine for 2 years. But once I tried it I was hooked. I now want to embroider the world!

I have a Brother 4500d - it does it all.

I'm sure that every manufacturer makes something that does it all... and it all depends on how much you want to spend ;)

The Diamond has a bigger throat.

My machine is over 30 years old and only has the basics. The family has just bought me a Pfaff Exp. 4.0 for this christmas.I have seen the demostrations and very impressive to me-not use to all these digital technology yet, anyway this one does embroidery and quilting. It was on a special offer and the price include a trolley and extended quilting table and apparently all the quilting feet that I will need. Can't wait to have a go at it.Sorry I am in UK, same offer may be over your side of the world.Worth checking it out.Good luck.
