Loved the little poem! I think I will copy it and hang it on my sewing room wall! Or maybe even embroider it into a pretty wall hanging. Thank-you for sharing......... :D

Everyone is quite welcome. I think it is so cute. (And true!) I have mine in a frame in my sewing room.

Anybody out here do rag quilts? I am just starting one and have a couple of questions. I am doing 1/2 inch seam allowance, is this enough???? Also how close to the seam do you snip??? Any help would be great...........:)

I just made 5 rag quilts. I did a 3/4" seam even though the pattern called for 1/2". The first one I saw had 1". I've never seen 1/2" but here's a picture of 3/4". I clipped to 1/4". Be careful when you are clipping it. Don't over-do! It got my carpel tunnel acting up from doing all the clipping. It hurt for a month!

I'll send you a PM with tips and information that I learned.
