    Yes, 1/2 is fine. Only clip to about 1/16 to the seam. You'll love how easy it is!!

    I just made 5 rag quilts. I did a 3/4" seam even though the pattern called for 1/2". The first one I saw had 1". I've never seen 1/2" but here's a picture of 3/4". I clipped to 1/4". Be careful when you are clipping it. Don't over-do! It got my carpel tunnel acting up from doing all the clipping. It hurt for a month! :oops:
