    I think your anniversary is a very special event that would warrant a momentary slip. What is the time period for only using your stash? Would you actually complete the quilt after that time period is done? I think that if you hubby loves it that much and is requesting it that is special. It's not every day that we find that just right gift for our hubbys. I say go for it :)

    Get it while the getting's good! My DH wants me to make a quilt for our bed, but so far he hasn't liked any pattern I've shown him. I finally picked one and will start it when I can afford the fabric. I do wish he'd been more help though.
