Ooops my finger slipped I swear!

I ordered 6 yards of fabric and some tools from connecting threads today! This is on top of the 11 yards of fabric and rag scissors I just got from fabric.com this week and my Brother sq9050 I ordered on Monday, hubby is going to not be happy. Oh well it's all from Birthday money!

It's not your fault...your hands probably had lotion on them so your finger slipped

Happy Birthday to you. We deserve to get a few things we want rather than just the things we need. Enjoy!

I am going to google rag scissors. Never heard of them but do like to make rag quilts. I hope they are something that makes cutting the frayed edges easier.

Heh. It's okay. I went on a fabric bender recently. I ordered seventeen yards from fabric.com. Then about fifteen yards from Connecting Threads. Then another eighteen from fabric.com (because the sale was about to end, and they messed up a couple things on my first order). Then I just got a forty-three-yard box of fabric from Fat Quarter Shop. >.>

It's all their fault. They kept putting things I like on sale.

The rag scissors CT sells are very sharp but are not the best for cutting all the snips. These are the best I have used. My hand does not get tired.

If it makes you feel any better, I had to leave my credit card in the snow bank overnight to cool off after buying a very zealous cart full from CT last night. I like your rationale that its birthday $$. My bday is Monday so I can say that I just bought a little somethin' somethin' for myself. I needed some inexpensive fabric for sashings and backings. The prices on the battings were so good I picked one up. Then the one week March Madness sale on the Shimmer line. Such soft, luscious greens that I couldn't resist. Happy birthday to you!

Oh, shoot. I'm trying to tell myself not to order from Connecting Threads. But that Swoon Kit is on sale! OOPS, just checked and it must be sold out, also most of the Shimmer line of fabric is gone too, so guess I will be saving myself some money! Good for you, though. And Happy Birthday to all!! Celebrate and buy!

New fabric always needs new fabric, so they can play together until the stash lets them join in the party!

This is what I tell my husband when I really need something and order to much . I rather spend it on fabric and yarn than do drugs , gamble or become an alcoholic, because if I did those things I will sell you on the street corner and loose the house. LOL he never says anymore. So really there is far worse things we could do.
