That doesn't make much sense, does it? The truth is, I'm no longer able to stand and cut, so My Hero (aka my husband) does 95% of the cutting for me, using my Alto Quilt cut. I don't know what his cutting would be like without it, but with it, he is always accurate and true. I always get the pieces I asked for... even when I asked for the wrong size pieces (my mind is ageing at the same rate as the rest of me).
sounds like true love to me This just made me smile thanks

Mine sits unused. Seemed like a wonderful thing at the time.

I believe there are tools and techniques for cutting that I would be more satisfied with. I have watched demos many times at shows and didn't feel one bit of excitement over it.

I just bought mine a couple of months ago. I don't use it on a daily basis. It doesn't seem to work for all those routine cuts we do every day, but I have used it to cut lots of strips. It went very quickly and was not nearly as stressful on my wrist, arm, neck.

I love mine. Helps me cut accurately and can't tell I've even cut fabric all day. I have weakness in my right arm and artritis. It is a life saver for me.

My story is the opposite. I bought one, LOVED it so much that I found one for my mom. We both use ours all the time. I love being able to just cut all of my fabrics in one small sessions and be ready to piece.

AND I save so much fabric because I don't have the ruler slip of the handheld ruler. I used to have my husband hold my ruler when I cut so that it wouldn't wiggle. HE is so happy not to do it much anymore. And I can cut anytime I want to - I had always plan my cutting time for when he was home AND available.

I just made a wonderful purchase for my QuiltCut recently too. For $10 I found a television stand with a lazy-susan top. LOVE IT!!!!!

Good luck finding a used one. I know that the ones on eBay are going for 90-95% of the cost of the new one.

You would have to cut off my arm to get me to give mine up. I love, love , love it. Best investment I've ever made. I use it all the time, it is so accurate, so easy to use and such a time saver. I say go for it if you do a lot of cutting.

I love mine, too, especially if I have to cut a lot of strips.

Is there a big difference between Accuquilt and Quiltcut?
