I know just how you feel. Did the same thing. Only the needle broke in my finger so I had to go to the hospital and have it removed. (the needle) I try to be so careful now. Aren't we goofy. LOL. Hope you are feeling better now.

Oh, Bless your heart...makes me hurt just to think about it. I have never done that but have done some pretty awful things, like cutting my finger with a rotary cutter..ONLY ONCE, learned my lesson the hard way...put the darned blade cover over it every time you use it! Hope your finger gets better soon....

I did the same thing about 20 years ago trying to shove blue jeans through. Middle finger fingernail got it but good. Had to use manual wheel on side to sloooowly back it out. Singer makes a stong machine! I feel for you sister.

Lesson will be learnt here - Pay Attention to what your doing and if you must have the television on then have it situated somewhere that you will have to turn right around to see it should something catch your attention thus stop sewing or else only have the radio on.

I just got a tetnus/ whooping cough vaccine a few months ago. seems you need a booster for WC(pertrusses-sp) when you get old!

Been there, done that. Hope
it heals quickly! A tetnus
shot wouldn't hurt if you
haven't had one lately.
Sorry it happened to you.
Hugs, Sharon

I did that not long ago-had to cut the thread to pull it through-but it healed quickly-good luck!
